Adidas Consortium Milano Slamjam Three
Adidas Consortium Your City pack drop 1. For the last quarter of 2009 Consortium are dropping 3 packs of 4 shoes. Each shoe is a classic city silhouette and features the design hand of a corresponding consortium partner.
An Italian retail institution, Slam Jam's inaugural entry into the adidas Consortium rollout carries the expertise and flair you'd expect, with a few surprises in the mix. A simple training shoe creation, the Milano remains much loved, and by retaining the blue, but complementing it with some lime green crinkle patent on the tongue, 3-Stripes and lacestays, and a blue version of the shiny leather on the heel that matches the predominantly all nylon upper.

Colette have gone for a pure white Paris in premium leather. The polka dot stripes relate nicely to their home country and the cutaway transparent sole insert provides a notable quirk in the detailling of this shoe. The Colette logo sits, with subtlety, on the heel tab.

Crooked Tongues have taken the great institution of the English pub in the design of this shoe. The colorway takes the inverse of the original London and the water resistant rubberised uppers keep out moisture and spilled pints. The rain mac cotton lining and Pint standard symbol on the tongue provide a fine attention to detail.

60th anniversary of the iconic Adidas triple stripe.This version uses a slightly different upper shape that was typical of the 1980's style.It also features the consortium top eyelet in originals blue.

ACU and D-Mop have brought some artisan style to the Stan Smith Vintage silhouette for this collection. Using the gloss finish on premium leather, and exploiting the palette the Stan Smith's pristine upper provides, the inspiration for the super detailed blue 'painting' comes from Chinese porcelain creations. The result is a unique looking design that takes the concept and runs with it, managing to add enough to the shoe to make their mark without rendering it a busy mess. That's quite a skill.
